Course Description:

This course presents an overview of the fundamentals of effective communication, presentation skills, listening skills, and the tools to engage with colleagues and employees. Limited to a small group for maximum effectiveness and involvement, participants will have four opportunities throughout this course to present on their feet. At the end of Day One, participants are given an assignment for a presentation that will be delivered the following morning. Coaching and feedback are provided to the class as a whole by both faculty and peers.

Expected Outcomes:

Participants walk away with a greater level of confidence in delivering their message and connecting to their audience. They will also gain a heightened awareness of their strengths and greater confidence in their presentation skills ability.
