We are excited to continue our annual scholarship to the Excellence In Speaking Institute, awarded to a deserving individual in honor of our former CEO, Anne Boyd Moore.
Anne was diagnosed with Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer in the summer of 2016 and went to heaven on October 22, 2017. This scholarship is dedicated to her life, her love for others, and her legacy that’s still going strong.
Anne is the heartbeat of our organization and her impact will always be a deep part of who we are as individuals and as a company. She loved nothing more than to watch the transformations of our students in our Excellence in Speaking Institute, so this scholarship is such a fitting way to honor that which was so important to her.
Course Description:
Ty Boyd’s Excellence in Speaking Institute® (ESI) is an entertaining, interactive class where participants prepare short talks on simple topics. Limited to a small group for maximum effectiveness and personal instruction, this 2 ½ day course provides an experiential learning experience. Our approach to speaking and presenting combines peer review with professional coaching. Participants are on their feet presenting several times throughout the course. Presentations are recorded and reviewed one-on-one with an executive faculty member for personalized coaching.
